The grand success of WrestleMania 33 can be encapsulated by the fact that the WWE achieved record attendance numbers for an event at The Citrus Bowl. The arena’s previous record was also held by the company for WrestleMania 24 where 74,635 flocked to Orlando. This time around it was an eye-watering 75,245 people.

The WWE’s decision to move to full-fledged stadiums has paid off in full as the WWE Universe comes in year after year to fill up stadiums no matter what the capacity seems to be. This isn’t WWE’s attendance record, of course, as that honour still belongs to WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.

But, regardless it is a mighty impressive number of people to come in and see John Cena propose to Nikki Bella.
