Mustafa Ali facing Edge might sound like an unusual feud at first. But it could turn out to be a major milestone for Ali and his faction, RETRIBUTION.

RETRIBUTION is currently several tiers below Edge's position on the WWE landscape. The anti-WWE faction has mishandled at every turn. Although Ali is trying his best to make the gimmick work, RETRIBUTION has never been included in a main event storyline since the group's inception.

Meanwhile, Edge has been the talk of the town since he returned to action. It may seem like there is no reason for "The Rated-R Superstar" to call out Ali, but RETRIBUTION has plenty of reasons to target the WWE legend.
