So far, only one wrestler has cashed-in during a match; Seth Rollins when he turned the one-on-one WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns into a triple threat. Wrestlers have cashed-in after speciality matches, the very first MITB cash-in occurred after an Elimination Chamber match, but no one has cashed-in during one of these bouts.

WWE has many specialities matches The Money in The Bank holder could cash-in during. A ladder match would be ideal. While both competitors are on the outside, Mr/Miss MITB could waltz in, climb up the ladder and take the title.

During a falls count anywhere match, Mr/Miss Money in The Bank could launch a sneak attack while the competitors are backstage to steal the title, a move reminisced of the old 24/7 Hardcore Championship days.

On the same night as this year's Money in The Bank match, AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match. The new Mr MITB could come in during the closing moments when both men are utterly exhausted; he would whack both Nakamura and Styles with the briefcase to pick up the win and the belt without pinning anyone.

Whoever pulls this off, would not just become a champion but they could claim Edge’s mantle of ‘Ultimate Opportunist’ for themselves.
