#2 WWE SmackDown Tag Team The Riott Squad

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Superstars Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott, collectively known as The Riott Squad, are one of the rare legitimate female tag teams on the main roster. They have a legitimate team name and matching ring gear, two elements that are staples of a proper tag team.
Riott and Morgan have tremendous chemistry inside the squared circle, and their real-life friendship makes their partnership even more remarkable.
Along with former member Sarah Logan, The Riott Squad has been teaming together, with some gaps, since making late 2017. But though the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships arrived in 2019, The Riott Squad hasn't held the prestigious tag team gold in WWE.
This past week on Friday Night SmackDown, The Riott Squad had a golden opportunity to gain some momentum when they squared off against Natalya and Tamina. Unfortunately for the prospective challengers, the current Women's Tag Team Champions left victorious after Tamina hit a Superfly Splash onto Riott.
While the loss could be considered a clear disappointment for The Riott Squad, perhaps the growing frustration caused by their failure to win big matches in WWE could lead to a personality change and subsequent heel turn for the pair.
A change in attitude might be just what The Riott Squad needs to defeat Tamina and Natalya and become the Women's Tag Team Champions for the first time.
