Johnny Gargano is one of the most experienced Superstars on NXT, and is also considered by many a future world champion in WWE. The first NXT Superstar to become a Triple Crown Champion on the brand, "Johnny Wrestling" has done it all in NXT.

He has had several great matches and rivalries in NXT, be it as part of DIY with Tommaso Ciampa or his singles career after the tag team was broken apart. His rivalry with Ciampa is considered to be one of the best in NXT history.

Johnny Gargano is all set to compete in the ladder match for the vacant North American Championship at NXT TakeOver XXX. With him already having won the title before, it is highly unlikely that NXT will put the title back on him this weekend.

Johnny Gargano previously joined Monday Night RAW temporarily last year alongside several other top NXT Superstars including Ricochet and Aleister Black. He has a massive fan base and is a popular name, hence it would be an obvious decision from WWE to shift him to the main roster, and maybe his wife and NXT Superstar Candice LeRae would also join him.
