Johnny Gargano is arguably one of the most senior NXT Superstars on the brand. After making a name for himself on the independent scene, perfecting his art and skills, Gargano joined WWE in 2015. Throughout his journey on NXT, Johnny Wrestling has become one of the most accomplished Superstar in the history of the brand. He was the first Triple Crown Champion in NXT history, having won all the major championships on the brand.

Before starting a singles career, Gargano was a part of a tag-team with Tommaso Ciampa, calling themselves DIY. The two went on to earn the praise of fans and critiques both as a team and while feuding with each other. Gargano vs Ciampa is one of the top feuds in modern-day wrestling!

While Ciampa has made his intentions clear to stay in NXT, the same is not true for Johnny Gargano. The two appeared on RAW for multiple matches last year, before coming back to NXT. Gargano is scheduled to challenge the current North American Champion, Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. A loss at the pay per view might lead to Gargano moving to the main roster. He has been on the top of the NXT roster for a long time, and it is indeed time for him to make way for other NXT Superstars and move to either RAW or SmackDown!
