Pete Dunne was a superstar from the moment he faced his first opponent in the inaugural WWE UK Championship Tournament. He didn't win the tournament but with his in-ring work and heel persona, he looked ready for NXT or main roster at that time.

Dunne Debuted on the main roster against Enzo Amore and squashed him in a short match, unfortunately, that was not a proper call-up but just a ploy to make the home crowd happy.
