As mentioned in recent articles, Nia Jax has been subjected to an unprecedented volume of boos wherever she has gone recently, and many of it has been down to the recent push she's gotten from WWE, where she has been portrayed as the ultimate heel.
The boos from the crowd are in conjunction with the heat Nia has been facing backstage because of her sloppy work in the ring, especially her most recent act, a wayward punch, which put Becky Lynch, probably the biggest star in WWE right now out of the biggest match of her career.
Nia probably would not have generated much heat if it was a one-time thing, but it has almost become a pattern in her career. There have been so many of these incidents that it almost sounds preposterous to see her getting her career's biggest push just after she put a fellow wrestler in danger once again.
In a career now almost embellished with botches, lets look at 5 of such incidents.
#1 Becky Lynch
We just have to start with Becky Lynch, don't we? During the recent Survivor Series build-up, Becky Lynch led the SmackDown invasion on Raw, and it all seemed to be going fine as she had attacked Ronda Rousey backstage.
With the Raw women waiting in the ring, Becky came out to face them, which was ultimately followed by a brawl in the ring between Raw and SmackDown women wrestlers. When the segment ended though, Becky Lynch appeared to have her face busted, and nose completely shattered.
Replays revealed it was a misdirected punch by Nia which caught Becky right on the nose. It was later revealed that Becky who was about to take part in the biggest match of her career at Survivor Series, had suffered a concussion, couldn't take part in the match, and will be out of action for an indefinite amount of time.
So ironically, Nia's sloppy ring antics put an end to Becky's big push, and resulted in Nia herself getting massive momentum.
#2 Zelina Vega
During the "Women's Evolution Battle Royal", Zelina Vega and Nia Jax had teamed up to eliminate as many wrestlers as possible, and at one stage Nia Jax and Zelina Vega were the only ones left.
During the finish of the match, Nia Jax was supposed to gorilla slam Vega out of the ring. Nia picked up Zelina and threw her out of the ring so hard that she was not able to control the fall, and ended up with a concussion.
The concussion suffered by Zelina was so bad that she has been out of wrestling since then, and there's no date set for her return to wrestling.
Nia on the other hand, because she did win the Battle Royal will go on to face Ronda Rousey for the championship.
#3 Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss lost the Raw women's title to Nia at WrestleMania, and this was supposed to be a rematch at Backlash 2018. The bout which lasted around 10-15 minutes was ultimately won by Nia.
But soon afterwards, reports emerged that Alexa Bliss had injured her shoulder during the match. There were no clear signs or any moment which could be pinpointed as the time when Bliss' shoulder was injured, but according to reports, it happened during the match with Nia.
Because of the shoulder injury, Bliss who was one of the more formidable heels on Monday Night Raw was put out of action, and she didn't feature on Raw for many weeks after that incident.
This was one of the earlier signs when backstage heat first started gathering momentum against Nia Jax.
#4 Bayley
Bayley was supposed to feature against Alexa Bliss in the Raw Women's title match that was to be held at SummerSlam 2017. Prior to SummerSlam on Monday Night Raw, Bayley was up against Nia Jax.
After her match against Nia Jax, Bayley was seen holding on to her shoulder after Nia botched a slam. Reports later emerged that Nia had caused an injury to Bayley on her shoulder, and this put her out of her match at SummerSlam against Alexa Bliss.
Bayley's injury was later attributed to Nia's sloppy work in the ring, which had caused Bayley to fall on her shoulder badly and injure herself. In Bayley's place, a women's tournament was created to find the #1 contender who would face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's championship at SummerSlam.
#5 Charlotte Flair
This was one of the earliest of the botches in Nia Jax's career, as she featured in a match against Charlotte Flair in an edition of Raw in 2017.
In this match, Nia performed not one, but two botches. During the match, Charlotte performed a diving moonsault on Nia, but ending up falling right on her face as Nia failed to catch her. This could have been potentially very dangerous for Charlotte as she could have injured herself badly there.
In the same match, Nia performed an even more potentially fatal move on Charlotte when she botched a shoulder breaker, as instead of spiking Charlotte's shoulder on her knee, she ended up spiking her head, which could have proven catastrophic, as Charlotte might have broken her neck, and it could have ended her career for good.
