Rey Mysterio has never really been a guy that needs promos to do the work for him since much of his action goes on in the ring, but sometimes he is forced to be part of backstage segments, where he makes a fool of himself.
Back in 2002, John Cena and Edge were arguing backstage whilst Mysterio continued to get himself ready for his match by doing reps in the background on a cupboard.
Obviously, Rey has always been a lightweight competitor so he was able to get away with this for a few minutes before the cupboard snapped under his weight and left him on the floor.
Edge and Cena obviously found this hilarious and it could be one of the reasons why the company decided to pre-record segments moving forward.
