#1 Stone Cold and Vince McMahon

It was me Austin, it was me, all along
It was me Austin, it was me, all along

If the penultimate feud is an integral part of the Attitude Era, then this is no different. Stone Cold and Vince McMahon's feud proved beneficial for the company in garnering good ratings, as well as beating the competition.

The storyline started when Vince McMahon left his commentary duties and decided to voice his opinion about Austin and said that he didn't want Austin to become the champion at WrestleMania 14. These words fueled the feud, and in an attempt to keep his words, The Chairman of the company put Mike Tyson as the special enforcer for the main event where The Baddest Man on the Planet decided to double-cross Mr. McMahon and counted Austin for the win over Shawn Michaels.

The Chairman of the company gave an Attitude Era belt and advice to the champion who responded in his way and started a storyline that entertained the fans. The storyline has become legendary in the company and the field of business.
