One of the biggest talking points for the show ahead of the night was that the first-ever AEW Women's Champion would be crowned in a match between Riho and Nyla Rose. The match was one of the most interesting ones of the night, but shockingly, it was Riho who came out on top after she was able to pin the much bigger woman.
Michael Nakazawa then made his way down to the ring to congratulate the Japanese star on her victory and was attacked by Rose. The issue was that Nyla Rose was looking to hit him with a powerbomb but either he didn't jump or she wasn't strong enough to lift him since he fell back down and almost landed on his neck.

Rose was able to powerbomb him on the second attempt, but by this point, Social Media was already full of comments about the star who is now being seen in the same light as WWE's Nia Jax, who infamously injured Becky Lynch last year.
