This didn't end well for Santino Marella

Santino Marella was one of WWE's biggest comedy wrestlers for a long time, which is why he could get away with dressing up as a woman and winning the first ever Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 25.

Marella is a former Intercontinental Champion, but it was only when he began having fun with his character that he was truly able to show the skills that he had as a comedy performer. One of his most memorable moments was when Beth Phoenix was feuding with Melina and Santino decided that he wanted to prove that he could do the splits too.

Marella fell off the apron and seemingly injured himself in the process, in what would be considered to be quite an embarrassing segment for the former star, but somehow Marella was able to get past this even though the WWE Universe never did.
