#3 John Cena vs Kurt Angle
John Cena could face Kurt Angle in one last match for the Olympian’s career. Yes, Kurt Angle is currently not signed to WWE, but that does not mean that he could not sign back. Angle retired from WWE at WrestleMania 35 where he wrestled Baron Corbin and lost.
However, Angle has been very vocal about how he wanted to face John Cena, but WWE didn’t give him that option. Cena and Angle are vital in each other’s careers. Cena’s first-ever WWE main roster moment took place when he answered Angle’s challenge and faced him in an impromptu match.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The display of “Ruthless Aggression” left nothing to be desired. Fans were taken aback at the rookie’s ability and Cena even came close to beating Angle. It’s only fitting that Angle’s last WWE match also be against Cena.
The chances of this match happening is less, as Angle is not signed with WWE. If given the offer of one last match against John Cena, he might not hesitate to sign back.
Despite the advanced age and ring rust of both stars, the two would put on a technical masterclass. It remains one of the best stories that WWE could tell.
