#1 Roman Reigns battles Edge in a Spear Vs Spear showdown

WWE did an excellent job in the booking of this year's Royal Rumble. From Brock Lesnar's reign of terror to Drew McIntyre's victory, everything was perfectly executed. Edge's unexpected WWE return made the match even more special. Edge entered the Royal Rumble at No. 21 and immediately became a fan favorite to win the match.

It was perfectly clear from that point that whoever will eliminate Edge from the match will receive negative reactions from the WWE Universe.

WWE chose Roman Reigns for this big responsibility. The confrontation between Edge and Roman Reigns received one of the loudest pops of the night. Edge managed to spear Roman Reigns and almost eliminated him from the match. But the current WWE Universal Champion succeeded in throwing Edge out of the match, much to the displeasure of the WWE Universe.

Drew Mcintyre eliminated Roman Reigns and made his Royal Rumble victory even more memorable.

The short but intense Edge-Reigns confrontation was enough to excite the fans for this possible dream match.

Edge can target Reigns for ruining his special moment and preventing him from winning the Royal Rumble. The Spear vs Spear showdown would be an outstanding bout and can potentially be the main event of WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns' recent heel turn has caught the imagination of the WWE Universe and Edge could be the perfect opponent for him as well.

This will provide Edge with his biggest feud since his return, as he would have to go one on one with the current Universal Champion. A win over someone like The Rated-R Superstar will help in solidifying Reigns' position as the top heel as well.
