Kane and Strowman appear to be headed for a collision course against one another.

One of the biggest, and best booked, talents over the course of the last half year has been the "Monster Among Men", Braun Strowman. In recent months, he has faced top stars like Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. In both cases, Strowman looked great, as he had the stamina to hang in matches that were gruelling while continuing to demonstrate incredible feats of strength. As a former strongman champion, focusing on his strength as a means to help him and his character development has made a lot of sense. However, now that feuds with Reigns and Lesnar have come and gone, what is next for him?

Who could possibly push Strowman to the limit and create a rivalry and a feud that is both engaging and entertaining to watch? While nothing is a certainty until the writers put forward their ideas, herein we explore some potential feuds that would work for Strowman in the wake of the handicap match at tables, ladders, and chairs. Who are these challenges, and could they push Strowman to the limits both in the ring and on the mic? Here are five opponents for Braun Strowman after TLC.

#5 Finn Balor

A difference in styles, skills, and size could make a Balor and Strowman interesting to see.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The heels of Balor's feud with Bray Wyatt, he and Strowman could very well square off against one another and build a meaningful feud. Balor's return from injury has been followed by a slow build, with him gaining steam throughout the year. In contrast, Strowman has been a machine, wreaking havoc against anyone and everyone in his path. A feud between these two men would showcase a contrast in styles, as Balor is much more mobile.

However, that doesn't mean it couldn't be an athletic feud full of stiff punches and hard hits.An interesting scenario that could play itself out is if "The Demon" came out to battle the monster that is Strowman, as WWE promotes a monster against a demon. It would be another example of how the demon entrance gives a psychological advantage to the leader of the Balor Club. The sheer size that Strowman presents against any of his smaller Raw roster opponents always creates a rather contrast, and facing Balor would be no different.

#4 Samoa Joe

A battle between these two massive competitors could be quite the scene.

One is the seasoned and experienced veteran and the other is relatively new to the WWE. Despite those differences between them, a Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman feud present a unique dynamic. As many are aware, Joe has been absent from in-ring competition since his championship match against Brock Lesnar. While he has been written out of current storylines, his injury is fairly minor and he can easily be inserted back into one.

Although Lesnar defeated both Strowman and Joe, one wonders what would happen in a feud between the monster among men and the Samoan submission machine? Could Joe choke out Strowman liked he almost did Lesnar, or would Strowman pick up Joe and finish him with his running power slam? Regardless of whom came out victorious, the feud itself could prove to be a wonderful experience for Strowman, as he faces off against a former multi-time world champion and someone that could push him to a whole new level.

#3 Kurt Angle

Angle has made a return to action. Will a feud against Strowman also be in the works?

He is a former world champion and the current Raw General Manager, and a feud against the near seven-foot monster would do nothing but help Strowman. Why would Angle and Strowman feud with one another? Strowman's vicious powerslam on Angle through a table is an easy motivator. Maybe as the storyline builds, Angle would be out for retribution when his son Jason Jordan is hurt by a rampaging Strowman at some point?

If such a story twist was brought in, then much like the aforementioned Balor and Joe, Angle could sell Strowman's offence, but in addition, he would help tell the story of an angry father looking to exact revenge. How much does Angle care for Jason Jordan? Braun Strowman may just find that out.

#2 Kane

Kane and Strowman may have a score to settle with one another sooner rather than later.

When Kane was revealed as the fifth member of the team of The Miz, The Bar and Braun Strowman, it was a surprise to see the devil's favourite demon added to the mix, a pleasant one, but a surprise nonetheless. Clearly, the seeds of a feud were planted during the TLC main event, and this feud works because, in a similar manner to the feud between Strowman and the Big Show, he would face another former champion that is fairly evenly matched against him in size, and given him greater credibility. And this would be another passing of the torch of the title of dominant big man.

Whoever is the heel or the face, this rivalry will be different as the two have had next to no contact with one another. In fact, Kane's rivalry with the Wyatt family didn't even involve Strowman. Instead, it was solely against Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, and Bray Wyatt. Much like a Strowman and Balor rivalry could be booked as monster versus demon, this feud would pit a monster against the devil.

#1 The Miz

Strowman was in pursuit of The Miz after the altercation at TLC

He's the Miz and he's awesome. The Miz is also constantly saying how good while talking down to someone else regardless of who they are. For example, The Miz had no problem stating how he was as great as he was while completely disregarding Roman Reigns. It doesn't matter whether or not it's true. Presumably, his big talk would be something he would even do against Strowman. Fans saw a lot of friction between the Strowman and his partners at TLC, including the Miz, and it was the Miz who directed his cohorts to put Strowman in the garbage truck and be taken away.

A Miz vs Strowman program could work because the Miztourage would be there to aid The Miz at any given moment and credibly put his opponent in jeopardy, but Strowman could easily dismantle all of them either collectively or single-handedly. This feud would work since Strowman seems to have turned face, or at the very least is a tweener, and will doubtless stop at nothing to get his hands on The Miz.
