SmackDown has seen some massive returns since the beginning of 2020 and one of the most recent ones was that of Jeff Hardy last month. With his brother Matt Hardy leaving the company and joining the rivals AEW, fans were wondering what role he will possibly play.

Now with WrestleMania in the history books, WWE needs more compelling feuds to maintain their TV ratings in the post-Mania period and they can do just that by booking Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt against each other.

Before Bray Wyatt made his return to WWE last year with this completely new gimmick, it was the Ultimate Deletion match in which Matt Hardy threw him in the lake of reincarnation. In the closing moments of that match, Jeff Hardy played a pivotal role in helping Matt defeat Bray and hence WWE has a great storyline to continue with The Fiend wanting to take revenge against the Charismatic Enigma.

To make things more interesting, Jeff Hardy could transform into his alter ego "The Willow" as well. These two supernatural characters going up against each other would be epic. Maybe we can get yet another cinematic style match between the two.
