#1 Seth Rollins has constantly been asking for a match against Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has his hands full right now, with Brock Lesnar back in WWE and Finn Balor in the mix. But another Superstar has been vocal in wanting to face him for the Universal Championship - i.e., Seth Rollins.

WWE has done an excellent job in subtly building to the eventual clash between the former Shield brothers. Rollins had a brief staredown with Reigns at the end of WrestleMania Backlash before attacking Cesaro, who had just lost to the Universal Champion.

A similar situation unfolded at Money in the Bank, as Seth Rollins helped Roman Reigns defeat Edge to retain his title. After the match, the two once again stared down before the WWE Hall of Famer attacked The Architect and allowed an opening for John Cena to take advantage of.

After losing to Edge at SummerSlam, Rollins may still be a few months away from title contention. So, while it may be a likelier prospect for 2022, he could very well rise to The Tribal Chief after he finishes his feud with Lesnar.

The dynamic between the two is very intriguing. WWE could book a unique Heel vs. Heel feud or turn Seth Rollins babyface for this potential feud. It is the most exciting program Roman Reigns could have with a current full-time star in WWE.
