Aleister Black and Drew McIntyre have both previously been NXT Champions. While Drew McIntyre finally got his big push at Royal Rumble 2020, Aleister Black is yet to receive his. Last time we saw the Dutch Destroyer, Seth Rollins and Murphy injured his eye and he has been out of action ever since.

However, this could be a blessing in disguise as it has been rumored that WWE want to repackage Aleister Black. And if his recent social media posts are anything to go by, the WWE Universe are in for a treat. It is speculated that he might come back with some sort of an eye-patch or even a mask. Black fueled the above speculations when he posted a picture of a masked character, which might very well be his new gimmick and look.

Aleister Black is a future world champion in WWE and while it looked like WWE was building him to be a top Superstar with his undefeated streak, the recent weeks saw him lose most of his momentum. While WWE could bring him back and let him go after Seth Rollins, it looks like the Monday Night Messiah will still be busy with Rey Mysterio and Dominick.

Hence, we cannot totally rule out Aleister Black returning and going after the WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre.
