New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 The US Championship
Kevin Owens is a multi-time US Champion and first won the title at Wrestlemania in 2017. He moved to Smackdown as part of the Superstar Shakeup and debuted a slightly tweaked gimmick. He referred to himself as the Face of America.
Owens' had a bland feud with AJ Styles for the US title during Summer of 2017, which hurt the credibility and momentum of both the superstars. Currently, the US Championship is in the hands of R-Truth(surprise!), and he has not appeared on Smackdown for quite some weeks now.
Kevin Owens returning and joining the US Championship scene, which currently has Truth, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev, will be an interesting turn of events.
Owens is rumoured to return on Smackdown Live, and joining the mid-card will be a nice start for the "Prizefighter".
Could a ladder match for the US Championship be on cards for Wrestlemania 35?
#4 Tag Team with Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens got injured around the same time in 2018, and both got cleared to wrestle at the same time too! Just like Owens, Zayn currently is a "free-agent" and could join either roster.
Zayn and Owens buried their hatchet and got together in 2017, and stayed together until Zayn got injured in May last year. RAW's tag team division is in shambles, and Zayn-Owens could give it a much-needed boost.
Tag-Team gold is all KO needs to complete his Grand Slam in WWE!
#3 Feud with Bray Wyatt
Returning superstars are more often than not, greeted by yet another returning superstar. Kevin Owens has been out of action for around six months, and the same can be said about Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt, like Owens, is a former World Champion who would bring great experience to the roster. Wyatt and Owens have stayed in WWE for almost four years now, but are yet to have a full-fledged feud.
#2 Bobby Lashley
In kayfabe, Bobby Lashley injured Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Owens set out to take revenge for Zayn, and in the process, got himself injured too at the hands of the All Mighty Bobby Lashley.
Kevin Owens returning to take revenge on the former Intercontinental Champion will be a great way to kick off a story-line between these two. We discussed the possibility of a ladder match for US Championship. However, with Balor, Ricochet, Lashley and a returning Owens, we could get a multi-man matchup for the Intercontinental Championship.
#1 Daniel Bryan
The environmentalist Daniel Bryan taking on Kevin Owens.a hardcore consumerism indulgent will be a great storyline for Wrestlemania. Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens are already rumoured to face off at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.
