Punk and Bryan
Back when both Daniel Bryan and CM Punk hadn't become mainstream stars in WWE, they were locking horns in Ring of Honor's sister promotion named Full Impact Pro. Bryan made his debut in the promotion in February 2005. He faced CM Punk at Dangerous Intentions and ended up losing the match. This led to a brief rivalry between the two future WWE Champions.

While in WWE, the duo got into a long feud that went on for months in mid-2012, soon after WrestleMania 28. Bryan and Punk wrestled for the latter's WWE title at Over The Limit 2012, with Punk retaining his title. At the next PPV named No Way Out, Punk defeated Bryan and Kane to retain his title.
At Money In The Bank 2012 PPV, Punk defeated Bryan again, this time in a No DQ match, with AJ Lee as the special guest referee. Punk left WWE in early 2014 after being unhappy with his position on the main roster. Bryan retired in 2015 following an injury, but made a miraculous return three years later and is still an active Superstar on the SmackDown roster.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
