This storyline is arguably one of the best storylines in SmackDown Live history, with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton featured as a team. That time the blue brand was on fire as they were defeating Raw in terms of storytelling.

Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt's rivalry initially started following SummerSlam (2016). Bray challenged Orton for a match at Backlash which he accepted without any hesitation.

After this, Bray Wyatt was seen getting inside Orton's head, as he was defeating Orton in every bout. Due to the mind games of Wyatt, Orton aligned himself with the leader of the Wyatt Family.

Soon, the two superstars won the SmackDown Live tag team championships together defeating the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno.
But their run as a team didn't last long as just before WrestleMania 33, Orton betrayed Wyatt after he burnt down his house and the grave of Sister Abigail.
The two men faced off against each other in a match at WrestleMania in which Orton emerged victorious, defeating Wyatt for the WWE Championship. Finally their rivalry ended after a few matches.
