#4 Kenny Omega's party is crashed by The Callihan Death Machine
While Sami Callihan would obviously want to ruin Kenny Omega's big moment on IMPACT Wrestling, this actually has little to do with the AEW World Champion. Though Kenny Omega is the top story going forward in pro wrestling right now, that won't be Sami Callihan's target.
Don Callis and Sami Callihan have had, at best, a very strained relationship. Sami Callihan has broken every rule, guideline, promise, window, and face that he's come across since joining the company. Sami Callihan hates authority and has been a pain in the sides of Don Callis and Scott D'Amore since they set eyes on one another. In fact, Callihan has even put his hands on Callis before.
With D'Amore suspending Ken Shamrock for a month this past Tuesday, Sami Callihan promised that he'd make D'Amore and IMPACT Wrestling pay. Is there any better way to do that than to ruin what may be the first step to a partnership between the two companies? Kenny Omega is escorted to the ring by Don Callis, who will, along with Scott D'Amore, explain how important it is that nobody interrupt what's happening.
This isn't just a big moment for Kenny Omega, it's a big moment for IMPACT Wrestling. But it's also a point where the company has, once again, ignored Sami Callihan's potential for the shinier prize in Kenny Omega. The Draw won't let that stand. It's an issue that Callihan has openly gone after Callis and D'Amore for a year ago, so why would this year be any different?
