#1 McIntyre's chase for the single's gold starts
It was no secret that the Scottish Psychopath is one of the most protected superstars on the roster ever since he was promoted to the main roster, but he always tagged along with Dolph Ziggler. They won the RAW Tag Team Championships together and went on to carry it until recently being defeated by Rollins and Ambrose.
With Roman Reigns absent for an unknown amount of time, McIntyre's rise to the top was escalated. With Ziggler now taking a side role and McIntyre stating his intentions of monster hunting, they won't be focusing on the tag championships anymore.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
This week, McIntyre interrupted another behemoth, Bobby Lashley, and then took out Finn Balor. After this, he was scheduled for a match against Kurt Angle, which he won via Ankle Lock.
If someone is allowed to beat a superstar with their own move, and an opponent of Kurt Angle's stature, it signals that there are great plans in the future for the superstar and the backstage team thinks highly of him.
