Candice LeRae and Io Shirai used to be the best of friends. Now they have become sworn enemies who're putting on a program that some have considered even more exciting than the current NXT Women's Championship picture, because of just how personal it seems. It does help that the two women are two of the best female wrestlers in the world too.
Io Shirai was finesse personified as she made short work of Cami Fields in the ring, delivering a picture-perfect moonsault that was a sight to behold. But then she would not go for the pin, choosing the Harajuku Clutch instead. I'm sure this will be a big part of her arsenal in the weeks to come.
In any case, Candice LeRae would chase Shirai away when she chose to inflict more damage to Fields than was really necessary. These two women are far from done, and we're glad!
