Before Ripley was famous for her brutality, this 23-year-old Australian Superstar was seen as a reserved competitor who was good inside the ring but didn’t necessarily stand out.
However, she underwent a huge transformation and completely changed her gimmick, acquiring a more brutal approach towards her rivals.
Her feud with Shayna Baszler put her on the map as she had the chance to lead her team to a victory at the first-ever Women’s WarGames match.

Following that, she went on to beat Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship and ended the historical reign of the ‘Queen of Spades’.
Ripley also had the opportunity to lead the NXT Women’s team into Survivor Series for the first time and picked the win for the Back and Gold brand.
Although Ripley lost her title to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36, she still poses a serious threat to the Queen’s title reign and will be back in the title picture in no time.
