#2 WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews
WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews is currently experiencing the greatest run of his WWE career to date.
Apollo Crews is currently in his first reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion after winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 37 Night Two. Crews defeated former champion Big E in a Nigerian Drum Fight, thanks to assistance from the debuting Commander Azeez.

Since then, Apollo Crews has successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Big E on Friday Night SmackDown.
But, could Bronson Reed be the next challenger for Apollo Crews on the blue brand on FOX? Given that Crews has already defeated several names in the SmackDown mid-card scene, it is very obvious that the Intercontinental Champion is in desperate need of new opponents.
This could be resolved during the upcoming 2021 WWE Draft. Several WWE Superstars from Monday Night RAW will be swapped with superstars from Friday Night SmackDown, thus giving Apollo Crews a new crop of opponents to face off against.
If Bronson Reed does indeed get called up to Friday Night SmackDown, a feud with Apollo Crews could be the perfect way to establish him as a top babyface on Friday Nights.
