Is the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship the next step for the reunited Riott Squad?

Since the Riott Squad reformed on WWE Monday Night RAW, they have rocketed straight to the top of the women's tag team division. The duo recently won a match to become No.1 Contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, defeating The IIconics to split them up in the process.

Both Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott are much-loved by the fans of WWE. After the Riott Squad split last year, Riott had been absent due to injury and Morgan was floating between different storylines that didn't quite allow her to live up to her potential, including a strange stint as the jilted lover of Lana.

Once Riott returned to RAW, her relationship with Morgan had it's ups and downs before they reconciled on The Kevin Owens Show. The duo works well together and they have excellent in-ring chemistry. Both members of the Riott Squad have spent years in WWE without winning a title, so could their title opportunity see them become the new Women's Tag Team Champions?
