If Elias becomes a SmackDown Superstar upon his return, he could certainly aim for the Intercontinental Title.

The current IC champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be up against number one contender Happy Corbin in the coming weeks on the Blue Brand. If The Artist is successful in defending his title, the contest against Elias will undoubtedly be intriguing.

The two superstars have previously fought on NXT, with Nakamura nailing Elias with the Kinshasa. Revenge would be sweet for the latter if he could defeat Nakamura to become the new IC Champion.

#3 Elias would look to settle the score with Jaxson Ryker

Jaxson Ryker defeated former partner Elias on four successive occasions.

With two count-out victories on the June 7 and 14 episodes of RAW, followed by a Strap Match and 'Symphony of Destruction' Match triumphs, Ryker certainly holds the advantage.

Upon his return, Elias will indeed seek to avenge himself. He would want nothing more than to destroy Ryker and finally settle the score. This match, if it happens, will be full of brutality, making it a match no one would not want to miss.
