Samoa Joe has not wrestled since February 2020, when he broke his thumb during a match on RAW in August 2019. He worked as a color commentator on the Red brand until he recovered from his injury. Joe then competed at Royal Rumble and on a couple of RAW episodes before he sustained another injury.

He was soon suspended for violating WWE’s wellness policy. After his return, Samoa Joe continued to work as a commentator until WrestleMania 37, where he made his last appearance. To say that the last few years have been difficult for Joe would be an understatement. He has struggled with several injuries, including concussions.
It is possible that Joe would like to take a break from working after his release from WWE. He could get some much-needed time off to evaluate all his options before taking the next step. He could also turn his attention towards things that he might have neglected. WWE’s schedule takes a toll on superstars, and Joe might not want to enter a similar routine by immediately signing with AEW.

Her views on pro wrestling evolved as she grew older and understood the intricacies of the business. This allows her to appreciate those who dedicate themselves to the craft and, once in a while, it does become what it has always been touted to be – magical. Her favorite wrestler is Finn Balor due to his persistence.
When she is not working as a writer, Shruti loves to read, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and let Manchester City dictate her weekend plans.
