1: Roman Reigns
The literal embodiment of a 'passing of the torch' match. The head of the house vs. the young lion seeking to dethrone him. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns has been speculated to happen ever since the Samoan received his monster push at the start of 2014. He's a star and for him to become the star he has to prove his worth against the gatekeeper of the past 10 years.
Reigns in the past has said some pretty defamatory things about the 15x World Champion stating that he's 'better-looking than Cena' and way 'more cooler' than him. Cena has also stated his intention of facing Reigns one day to see if "he's really as good as he thinks he is." This match has everything the WWE wants from a main event; fan interest, star power and long-term implications. And even if you don't want to see this match for its 'wrestling potential' wouldn't it be interesting just to see who the WWE Universe actually cheers?
How would we book this match I hear you say? Yes, Roman's on RAW and Cena's on SmackDown but an intra-brand mega-bout would have so much star power. It would heighten the rivalry between the two shows. The storyline could be SmackDown needing to prove they're no longer the B-show and Roman needing to show Stephanie McMahon why he's this generation's John Cena. The face of the RAW versus the face of SmackDown, only one brand can win.
This match change WWE forever.
