#4. Miz's partner: Cody Rhodes

It was inevitable that AEW was going to have one of their high-profile stars eventually leave the company. It is surprising that it was Cody Rhodes, one of the people most responsible for forming the promotion in the first place. But that's what happened. So here we are.

Reports on Rhodes' future plans vary, ranging from him possibly returning to WWE to retiring altogether. Whatever he has planned, The American Nightmare is able to do it any time he wants, as he's no longer under contract. That means that he could show up on Raw as early as tonight.

In describing this potential partner during his post-match promo at Elimination Chamber, The Miz referenced "similar striking features" as himself. During his original WWE run, Cody's own facial features were a big part of his gimmick.

First he was "Dashing" and obsessed with personal grooming. Then, after taking a 619 from Rey Mysterio (while wearing a knee brace), he was obsessed with the delusion that the bones in his face were shattered - and wore a protective mask.

And of course, we can't forget his epic mustache.

So, we have a free agent Cody Rhodes who has a history with Rey Mysterio - why couldn't he be Miz's mystery partner?

Miz is also a two-time WWE Champion and one of the more high-profile stars in WWE right now. If the company wanted to make a big splash with Cody Rhodes returning, The Miz is a pretty good star to anchor that return on.
