Will The Legend Killer face The Scottish Psychopath at SummerSlam?

Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton at SummerSlam could be seen by some members of the WWE Universe as a dream match. While Drew McIntyre has been on the rise this year, Randy Orton has been near unstoppable in 2020 so far. The Viper callously turned his back and attacked his long time friend Edge in January of 2020 as hasn't looked back since.

At the same time that Drew McIntyre was winning and defending the WWE Championship, Randy Orton has removed the likes of Matt Hardy, Edge, Christian and The Big Show from WWE television by either crushing their skull with a conchairto or caving it in with a vicious punt kick.

In addition to this, Randy Orton has recently realigned himself with his former Evolution stablemate and mentor, WWE Hall of Famer "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. This partnership and subsequent destruction of WWE icons has allowed Randy Orton to once again dub himself as "The Legend Killer" in WWE. A moniker that Orton previously used during his early career with the company.

Because of this return to the Legend Killer character, Randy Orton has easily become the top heel on the Monday Night RAW roster. Therefore, at the biggest event of the summer, it only makes logical sense that the biggest heel on RAW would face off against the biggest babyface on RAW. Right now, the biggest babyface on Monday Night RAW is the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

A match between The Legend Killer and The Scottish Psychopath has been rumoured for SummerSlam. Should this match come to fruition, it could no doubt be an absolute classic, fitting for one of the biggest events on the WWE calendar.
