Shelton Benjamin currently has no direction within WWE. Nevertheless, his potential to generate intrigue and excitement is immense. Originally debuting for WWE in 2000 Benjamin would depart in 2010. Upon leaving WWE Benjamin's career skyrocketed on the independent circuit. He would perform in; New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling Noah.

Although fans witnessed his teaming up with Chad Gable, reminiscent of his time with fellow wrestler Charlie Haas, it was dissatisfying. Moreover, fans would miss out on Benjamin's pure talent. Therefore, with Almas and Benjamin requiring elevation, a feud between them is beneficial. However, WWE would need to be careful in their booking. Could we see this happen?
