#1 The Undertaker
For the last few years, the expectation has been that The Undertaker will retire after his next WrestleMania match, yet he continues to return to the ring and he will even compete at MSG in July for the first time in eight years.
Right now, it looks like “The Deadman” will have a rematch against John Cena at next year’s WrestleMania, possibly in the final match of his career, but it’s difficult to believe anything that’s said about ‘Taker’s ‘retirement’ when he keeps on defying the odds to come back year after year.
In this writer’s opinion, it would be fitting if the WrestleMania icon brought an end to his career against his storyline brother, Kane, rather than against Cena in a potential retirement match.
The Brothers of Destruction are of a similar age – Kane is 51 and Undertaker is 53 – and both will surely be looking to retire for good in the next few years, so why not have them face off in one final match at WrestleMania where they both call time on their careers after the match?
