For months now, most seem certain that The Undertaker will be facing John Cena At WrestleMania.
If you remember rightly, everyone was just as sure last year. Cena then went on to enter a programme with The Miz, to everyone's surprise, so anything can happen between now and WrestleMania.
Here we look at a few other opponents the Undertaker could face instead of Cena.
#5 Samoa Joe
As it stands, Samoa Joe is on the injured list. If he does manage to make it back on time, he will need a high-profile feud for WrestleMania.
When Joe was in his programme with Brock Lesnar he was booked as a superstar that has no fear at all. With this in mind, he could take the same stance with The Undertaker's mind games in the build-up to WrestleMania.
Undertaker Vs Samoa Joe is a dream match that no-one ever thought they would see. It would be a great fit for WrestleMania and The Undertaker could be keen to take over a new monster before he waves goodbye.
Could this monster be Samoa Joe?
#4 Kane
When thinking about an opponent for The Undertaker, his brother Kane always comes to mind.
Kane and The Undertaker have clashed at WrestleMania before. Although the matches they have are no in-ring masterpieces, they both know how to tell a great story. They are actually very believable as feuding brothers!
With both superstars probably nearing the end of their respective careers, the story of the feuding brothers coming full circle at WrestleMania would be a fantastic story.
They could even fight to a draw or double count out and both close the curtain of their careers by leaving the arena together with raised fists as the Brothers of Destruction!
#3 Braun Strowman
This one is similar to the Samoa Joe slide so I will not go into to much detail.
A match between these men was teased before Mania last year and if Taker wanted to put over a beast, there may be none better than Strowman. He has proved himself to be the biggest monster on the roster and has even manhandled the man who broke the streak on many occasions.
Taker was seen in the ring while Strowman watched from a monitor in the back. This means the match had to be in the plans of the creative team at one point. Perhaps they put these plans on hold which means eventually they will come back to them.
At the moment Strowman seems to not really have a programme heading into Wrestlemania. This makes this match a legit possibility.
#2 Finn Balor
In a true tale of new school Vs old school, The Demon Vs The Phenom really does sell itself.
One thing about this rivalry is that the entrances will be epic. Can you imagine the druid leading Taker to his final battle before the Demon crawls down the ramp? It really is a match that you could put on with no build and it would still raise the roof!
The Undertaker has always been the first to say he will go out on his back by putting someone over on the biggest stage possible.
The WWE already gave Balor the right to call himself the first ever Universal Champion so if they wanted to catapult him into the stratosphere this would be a great way to do it.
#1 Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat
This one would be all about Redemption!
Perhaps The Undertaker could find his way into the main event match against the 2 men who managed to defeat him at WrestleMania, an event he was undefeated at for over twenty years.
How the Undertaker gets into the title match is a mystery. Perhaps he could come out during a promo between the two and could goad them into letting him into the match by offering his career if he loses. For a man like Roman who is always quick to say he retired the Undertaker, the chance to really do it could be too hard to refuse!
This would not be about the title but about proving he still has it, he could go on to win the match redeeming himself for the two losses. Then he could leave the belt in the ring having achieved what he needed to before leaving the WWE for good.
This would be real poetic justice!
