Velveteen Dream has achieved immense success and his character garners intrigue and is similar to fellow wrestler Goldust. Dream most notably feuded against Aleister Black and would earn the award of NXT rivalry of the year in 2017.

Wiliam Regal recently announced the participants for the North American championship ladder match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans, including Velveteen Dream, Adam Cole, Lars Sullivan, Killian Dane, EC3, and Richochet.

Predicting the outcome of this match is almost impossible considering the level of talent involved. Nevertheless, with the recent booking from WWE, it seems Dream could win.
