In his 10 years at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Kurt Angle made several alliances with the enemy he never thought he’d join. The rival wrestling promotion have travelled the world trying to replicate the success of the WWE, to not much avail. However, this storyline gives the rival promotion a way into the WWE.

As TNA’s attendance figures and ratings continue to plummet, Carter as a minor equity shareholder must find a way to revive the company she once loved so dearly. The only way to save the company would be to make an out of the blue deal with the WWE? And who does she know better in the WWE offices than Kurt Angle? The storyline could play out as Dixie Carter using Angle to get what she wants, which is access to the WWE locker room.
