5 Possible Reasons why Roman Reigns hasn't been involved in the title picture lately

Another reason could be that WWE is just waiting for the right time to push Reigns and maybe it is going to be a Royal Rumble victory which would settle it. Maybe another showdown between Roman and Brock Lesnar is being planned for WrestleMania 36 and after Lesnar won the Money in the Bank contract, it seems likely that the two will meet.

If Lesnar cashes in his contract on Kofi and wins the title, it surely means we are going to see Lesnar vs Reigns on SmackDown Live. Also, with FOX taking over Tuesday nights from October, they would want the top superstars competing for the gold, and who better than the two golden boys of WWE - Roman, and Brock.

#1 Patiently trying to get Roman over the WWE Universe as a face

One thing that WWE hasn't been able to do is to make Roman look believable as a face. Look at how much Rollins has changed over the years. When he disbanded the Shield, he was one of the most hated superstars, but then, as soon as he turned face, he was loved by WWE Universe and continues to be.

The same cannot be said for Roman, as his character just isn't believable enough. That is not his fault but it is just due to the fact that the Big Dog was being pushed too hard, and that maybe led to his downfall, while Seth became the face of the company.

Maybe, WWE is trying to rectify their mistakes, and in the process is trying to patiently push Roman up the ladder one step at a time rather than allowing him to take the small route. I don't know about you, but it personally feels refreshing to see Roman in mid-card feuds, but that surely won't be for long.
