Lesnar was considered to one of the best Heavyweight Champions in UFC history before Stipe Miocic came along and successfully defended the title on three occasions, effectively moved up the pecking order in the process.
Miocic is all set to face Daniel Cormier in a Heavyweight title fight at UFC 226 and Lesnar, no doubt would be waiting in line to get a shot at the Champion, whatever the outcome may be.

UFC could immediately inject Lesnar into a title scene by giving him a shot at the winner of the super fight, which would surely infuriate a majority of the fighters and fans alike.
The other option is for Lesnar to go up against the loser of the fight to determine a #1 contender, that is if DC intends to stick around in the 205lbs+ division.
All said and done, the UFC's relatively shallow Heavyweight division needs Brrrooock Lesssnarrr!
