A superstar like Asuka has devoted her whole life to learning the craft of wrestling. Hailing from a non English speaking country, she struggles with her promos.

While she goes off on her opponents in a barrage of Japanese insults, once in a while, such gimmicks often lose their charm. Asuka needs an on-screen manager like Paige.

Someone like Shinsuke Nakamura could similarly benefit from her. Imagine seeing Andrade 'Cien' Almas without Zelina Vega for the company.
Paige is a worker, knows how to react to every situation and can, therefore, be a great manager for either Japanese superstar.

It is unfortunate indeed that Paige was stripped off her General Manager duties when she was actually doing a commendable job. But it is what it is, and as long as WWE likes her, her career is far from done.
