Ruby Riott made her return to WWE earlier this year. However, she has had a disastrous run so far on RAW. The former Riott Squad leader has suffered 11 consecutive defeats, which has forced the fans to think about her future. Last week on RAW, Lana approached her backstage. This meeting led to speculation that Riott could join the tag team division.

While Ruby can form a fantastic pair with Natalya, if the former SmackDown Women's Champion is not available, WWE can use Mickie James. The six-time Women's Champion recently stated that she wanted to win the WWE tag team titles. Hence, it would make sense if she joins Ruby Riott.

Bruce Prichard can book Riott to lose a few more matches before Lana would introduce her to Mickie James. Since she had been failing in the singles division, Riott might agree to team up with Mickie, and then the two can build a winning streak, before challenging the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley at SummerSlam.

Riott and James could pick up the titles, thereby also setting up a possible breakup angle between Sasha and Bayley.
