Seth Rollins "removed the eye" of Dominik's father, Rey Mysterio, at Extreme Rules

Dominik Mysterio is no stranger to SummerSlam. The son of the legendary WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio actually sat ringside as his father faced WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero in a ladder match for the custody of Dominik at SummerSlam 2005.

Fast forward 15 years and SummerSlam 2020 could be the event in which we see Dominik Mysterio's first ever official match inside a WWE ring.

At The Horror Show at Extreme Rules the personal rivalry between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio was taken to new and unprecedented levels as they battled in the first ever "Eye for an Eye match".

The Monday Night Messiah would walk out victorious, and with both eyeballs, as Rey Mysterio suffered a "globe luxation" causing Seth Rollins to be sick to stomach, figuratively and literally.

However, this past week on Raw, Seth Rollins showed little to no remorse for his actions towards Rey Mysterio. With SummerSlam on the horizon, could Dominik Mysterio look to avenge his father?

Dominik Mysterio has been involved in limited physicality in WWE so far. Dominik was on the receiving end of a brutal Brock Lesnar beatdown in 2019, which led to him getting physically involved in the Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio match at Survivor Series 2019.

Likewise, he masterminded an attack on The Monday Night Messiah several weeks ago on Raw. It's well known that Dominik Mysterio is currently training to become a professional wrestler and has been for some time now.

Could SummerSlam provide the perfect setting for Dominik Mysterio to make his WWE in-ring debut and face off against Seth Rollins in an attempt to get retribution on behalf of the Mysterio family?
