#2. Jinder Mahal
In case you don't know, before getting released, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater were part of a cannon fodder stable known as the Three Man Band (3MB).
The faction was a comedy piece and lost almost every match that they had. WWE treated the men involved so poorly that both Mahal and McIntyre even lost to El Torito in singles matches.

McIntyre and Mahal have had a very similar career trajectory. Both of them were released together back in 2014. Both of them worked hard from the bottom to earn another contract with the company. Mahal would then become the WWE champion after defeating Randy Orton, while McIntyre would become the NXT champion by defeating Bobby Roode.
McIntyre is now at the peak of his career in the WWE, not only is he putting on incredible matches, but he is in an incredible physical condition. Despite that, some fans have mockingly chanted 3MB when he has entered the ring, and having him defeat Mahal in a quick feud could finally lay those memories of 3MB to rest.
