While Ronda Rousey would likely be the favorite to win if she does make her return, the safer bet would be Shayna Baszler. She, like Rousey, is a former UFC fighter who could have a very interesting match with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. And the fact that her time in NXT seems to be done, there is no other logical step for Baszler to take other than a Royal Rumble victory.

The Queen of Spades has already gotten the better of Becky Lynch, winning a triple threat involving her at Survivor Series. 'The Man' herself attacked Baszler after the match. Surely, this has been done with a plan in mind to pit the two together for a big-time bout at the Show of Shows.

Unlike her fellow MMA Horsewoman, Shayna Baszler is already part of the full-time WWE fold and there are no major terms to be agreed for a move to Monday nights. As the status of Ronda Rousey is still in doubt, the former NXT Women's Champion is the favorite to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match.

It certainly is a major deal that the likeliest winner of the Rumble match is currently residing on the Black and Yellow brand, even if she was always made to dominate on the main roster. In less than a weeks' time, we could be witnessing the advent of Shayna Baszler.
