4. Against AJ Styles at WrestleMania
Again, while booking this match would be a big attraction for WrestleMania, it would take two legacy stars away from potentially getting over other talents.
That being said, this would be an excellent match, and both are experienced enough to tell a great story.
Similar to John Cena, the biggest issue the creative team will have is determining who is the babyface and who is the heel.
AJ Styles is just re-establishing himself as a face after a long heel run, while it's getting harder to boo Edge as the years go on.
Naturally, they could both be babyfaces who put on a great match, but the match would then lose the energy that a traditional face versus heel feud would bring.
3. Making his WrestleMania return, Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon returned at the Royal Rumble, meaning his yearly WrestleMania match is on the horizon.
It would not be a good use of Edge at the big show, but fans can't rule out the possibility.
For one thing, Vince McMahon likes to pair his son with performers he can trust. Plus, Shane is always fond of being in big attraction matches where he can jump or fall off of something high.
Should this be the match for Edge, fans can only hope that the story will be compelling enough to carry the in-ring performance.
