WWE Fastlane: 5 matches we want to see

Riddle vs. Mustafa Ali, Raw (March 1st)

New WWE United States Champion Riddle had a fun, albeit short, match with the leader of Retribution this past Monday night on Raw. That match actually saw Ali gain the victory, a shocking win coming so quickly after Riddle was crowned champion. However, it was after Riddle had already competed in a six man tag team match, giving him a bit of an "out" with the loss.

When WWE does this king of thing (a champion losing in a non-title match), it's often to set-up a rematch for the title, so that would seem quite likely at Fastlane. Once again, just like Rollins vs. Cesaro, this is one that we wouldn't complain about seeing once again. Though Rollins and Cesaro have wrestled before and have the pedigree and history to have a match that everyone wants to see at Fastlane, Riddle and Ali just showed a little bit of promise on Raw. That promise could prove to be even better if given proper footing at a PPV event.

While Riddle will likely win the rematch at Fastlane, it's one that has a lot of potential as Ali continues to be the redeeming factor when it comes to the Retribution stable.
