After years of feeling like an after thought, Apollo Crews is in the midst of the best run of his career. An Intercontinental Championship match against Big E at Fastlane has been hinted at on television and would be a great opportunity for the budding star to show what he can do. These two are no strangers to each other in recent months, having battled a couple of times for the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown already this year.

While it's difficult to call Big E's current run the best of his career, simply because he has so many awesome years with The New Day under his belt, he's definitely feeling like he has some momentum after the airing of the great new WWE 24 documentary focusing on his life that was released last weekend on the WWE Network.

Surprisingly, neither of these men were featured on the WWE Elimination Chamber card just two weeks ago, so Fastlane is their chance to go out and show that they deserve a featured spot at WrestleMania. For Big E, likely to remain Intercontinental Champion headed into that show, that's merely a formality. For Apollo Crews, it's a prospect worth going out and tearing down the house for at Fastlane. This is certainly his time to shine after years of promise.
