#2 Darby Allin
Darby Allin has a rare gift with wrestling, which is his instant connection to the crowd, something that is paramount to getting fans behind a wrestler.
Allin, like Jungle Boy and MJF, is very young at only 22 years old. Despite his young age, he has a wealth of ability in the ring, being able to pull off daredevil high-flying moves that would take many men a lifetime of training to learn.
Allin wrestles a high octane high-flying style, a fighting tactic that allowed him to take Cody Rhodes to the limit at AEW Fyter Fest, ending the match in a time limit draw. Allin is another wrestler like Jungle Boy who can be considered to be a homegrown talent, having won only one championship on the independent circuit and only having wrestled in a handful of promotions since beginning his career.
However, his lack of championship glory does not undermine Darby Allin's talent. While he isn't an expert on the mic, his character and mannerisms are clearly that of a wrestler who knows the ins and outs of his character, and how to develop that character in front of a national audience. He has made the audience sympathize with his past and his story, coming out as an underdog fans root for.
If Darby Allin continues his excellent trajectory, he will certainly be a future AEW World Champion.
