#2. Big E could look to work his way back in the WWE title picture starting from the very bottom
If Big E wants to be champion again, there is a monumental task ahead of him. One way is to win the Royal Rumble Match and come back into title contention. Another option could see him restart from the very bottom and march his way to the top by beating a host of superstars. By doing so, E will prove his worth as a deserving title contender, having conquered a host of good talent.
Drew McIntyre took a similar path when he lost his WWE Championship last year, and there is no reason why Big E can't.
#1. Big E could fulfill his dream of facing Goldberg
Former WWE Champion Big E made his feelings known of facing his childhood hero Goldberg at WrestleMania 38. The Powerhouse of Positivity appeared on Barstool’s Rasslin’ podcast in 2021 and spoke about wanting to have a match with the WWE Hall of Famer:
“My real number one, as I have said 1000 times, Goldberg is something very cool. I'm not saying we would have the greatest match of all time, but 10 minutes. Give me two minutes. I'll be a one-minute man for that match. The opportunity to wrestle – this man was my childhood hero. I met him over 20 years ago at a signing. I still have the 8x10 up in my house in the closet that he gave to me that he signed for me years ago. I know there's something very full circle about – the fact that it's even possible is dope. I would love to have one. Give me 90 seconds of a match.”
With Goldberg having one match left on his WWE contract and wanting to wrestle more after his contract expires, this contest could see the light of day. This Battle of Eras match will be an epic affair, deserving of being showcased at WrestleMania 38.
