In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Sheamus talked about a potential clash against Conor McGregor in a WWE ring:
"If he wants to come in there with me, that's grand. He might get the fight of his life there, he might get couple of slaps he's not used to. But that's what it's all about, getting in there and seeing a different type of environment."
A match against The Celtic Warrior could act as the perfect debut for Conor McGregor in WWE, as it would allow The Notorious One to flex his in-ring abilities in a relatively smaller matchup before he is ready to move on to bigger things.
Of course, this means that Sheamus will probably be booked to lose in a WWE match against Conor McGregor, but it shouldn't affect The Celtic Warrior's momentum to a huge degree.
